Best for: All ages, up to 6 in your private group. This custom tour fits clients skill level and priorities. Your private guide will instruct you on the fundamentals of cross-country skiing to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable!

Join us on world-class XC and snowshoe trails through some of the wildest parts of North America. Some are machine groomed, others skier groomed. We'll find just the right trails for your private group, exploring the best trails between Mammoth Hot Springs, and Cooke City, MT.

Even for beginners, our experienced guides will help you enjoy winter sports safely.

Experience the exquisite silence of Yellowstone at it's quietest time of year.

Learn about the unique adaptations our wildlife and flora has evolved to endure a long winter, and how to read the landscape by the signs Yellowstone's wildlife leave behind.

Bring your own snowshoes, skis and boots, or we can assist with rentals. We have several snowshoes for borrow.

The hushed, frozen winter wonderland could be our favorite time of year. If fewer crowds and otherworldly landscapes are on your list, winter is your season!

What to bring:

National Park Service entrance fee or pass

XC skis and boots or snowshoes (We can help you rent!)

2-3 liters of water per person in reusable water bottles if you have them (we always have extras for you, but love to reduce waste!)

A heartier lunch if you prefer more than the continental breakfasts and snacks we offer. We will provide a cooler.

Clothing layers: wicking base layers, snowpants, extra socks, puffy jacket, waterproof shell, mittens, winter hat, and snow boots.

Camera, with extra batteries

Anything else to make you comfortable and safe (i.e. sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, personal medications, inhaler.)
