The details...

  • This is a terrific opportunity to explore Yellowstone National Park in a day, touring Yellowstone's volcano, while learning more about Yellowstone's wildlife, history, human culture, and geology.

  • This is primarily a road-based tour, with short walks to overlooks and on boardwalks to catch the highlights along Yellowstone's Grand Loop.

  • We will look for wildlife, visit the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Hayden Valley, Old Faithful, waterfalls, geyser basins and other special places to get a complete sense of the complexity of Yellowstone.

  • At nearly 3500 square miles (~9000 square kilometers), take the guesswork out of knowing where to stop, or how to time your day. Leave the guiding to us!

  • Your personal guide is a local who has spent years (or in some cases a lifetime!) exploring Yellowstone, and we love to share our intimate knowledge of the landscape.

Included:

  • Expert interpretation from your personal, private guide

  • Door-to-door transportation from Gardiner, MT or Mammoth Hot Springs

  • Continental breakfast and hearty snacks

  • Hot and cold beverages

  • Quality spotting scopes

  • Binoculars for everyone

  • A water carafe from which to refill your personal water bottle
